Precedent 2             Pregnancy: less favourable treatment and redundancy dismissal

Precedent 3             Redundancy while on maternity leave - unfair redundancy dismissal; failure to offer suitable vacancy

Precedent 4             Breach of the right to return following maternity leave

Precedent 5             Refusal of part-time work request (indirect sex discrimination) and breach of the Flexible Working Request

Precedent 6             Refusal of part-time work request (indirect sex discrimination); detriment for taking emergency dependant leave

Precedent 7             Refusal of flexible working request for a father (direct sex discrimination)

Note: All these precedents are written in the first person. It is equally acceptable to write claims in the 3rd person, i.e. ‘The claimant …’.

The precedents are written on the basis that the statutory dispute resolution procedures no longer apply.

All users of these pages should note that they are not a comprehensive guide to the law and we recommend you find legal advice to complement the information.
