Angela Bann
Following a portfolio career spanning retail management with BAT industries,
and voluntary sector management, Angela now works as an independent training
consultant, specialising in work - life balance and management development.
She has worked with local authorities, public bodies, voluntary organisations,
and small businesses and is involved with Working Families'
voluntary sector project, 'Balancing Work and Home in the Voluntary Sector'.
As well as facilitating workshops on a range of work - life issues, Angela
works with individual managers to help them manage flexible workers.
Angela develops written resources on the subject of work - life balance.
She is a co-author of the Working Families' development
pack for voluntary sector organisations. Other recent publications include
a toolkit to help business advisors identify work - life balance needs
and solutions in small and medium enterprises and a training kit for Early
Years Development and Childcare workers. She has also written for a website
for small business owners.

Lucy Daniels
Lucy Daniels' work includes consultancy, training and research concerning
the development of corporate work-life strategies, management of flexible
and teleworkers in small and large firms, pan-European policies and practices,
childcare and elder care provision in the UK.
She was founding Director of the national charity, Parents At Work and
is an associate director of the Work Life Research Centre which brings
together academics and practitioners concerned with this issue. She also
writes extensively on the subject of work-life balance, flexible working
and childcare.
Organisations for whom she has undertaken consultancy and training include
the National Audit Office,Ford Motor Company, Hewlett Packard, CfBT, IBM,
Littlejohn Frazer, NEC, Peak District National Park and Rolls Royce.
In 2003 she received the lifetime achievement award from the National
Work-Life Trust for her contribution to this field.

Lucy McCarraher
As an independent expert in work-life balance and flexible working,
Lucy McCarraher has co-written The Book of Balanced Living, the Work
Life Manual and the video Get the Balance Right. She has worked for the
Work-Life Research Centre, National Work-Life Forum, Employers for Work-Life
Balance and judges Working Families annual Employer of
the Year and Best Boss Awards.
Lucy is an experienced trainer and consultant and has worked with a range
of clients including: Microsoft, Virgin Management Ltd, GlaxoSmithKline,
Linklaters, BP and many local authorities and NHS Trusts.

Sally Muir
Sally is a freelance counsellor and facilitator, working in the parenting
and work-life balance fields.
While working with Working Families, she built up an
in-house advisory service for BP, offering a comprehensive range of support
that covered childcare, work-life and diversity issues. She devised and
wrote a quarterly newsletter for parents and ran STEP (Systematic Training
for Effective Parenting) and STEP Teen courses. These services were instrumental
in BP winning an Opportunity 2000 award for demonstrating commitment.
Sally has worked with a wide range of clients including Barts and the
Royal London, various ACT, PCT and NHS trusts,Nestle, BP, Ford and the
BBC.
Sally is sometimes invited to speak at conferences and on radio. Her
radio broadcasts include All in the Mind with Professor Anthony Clare,
Education Matters, and Woman's Hour.

Jo Reynolds, FCIPD
Jo Reynolds, BA (Hons), Chartered FCIPD, a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development,
is an independent consultant following an extensive career in Human Resources
with Eli Lilly and Company Limited , the global pharmaceutical organisation.
She was part of the team that led Eli Lilly to the 1996 Parents at Work
"UK Employer of the Year" award for innovative flexible working
policies.
She now specialises in this area in major businesses, with clients from
both public and private sectors, bringing a broader expertise and understanding
of HR issues into the practical solutions she provides. Some of her recent
clients are: Camelot Group plc, Virgin Management Ltd, Linklaters, The
Princes's Trust and several NHS Trusts. She also has an extensive practice
in personal coaching, the skills for which she finds useful in supporting
managers introducing flexible working. She is also Branch Chair of the
Central Southern Branch of the CIPD, and sits on the Institute's UK steering
committee on Career Management. To keep her own life in balance, she plays
competitive golf.

Michael Wilkins
Michael Wilkins has ten years consultancy experience working with organisations
of all sizes in different sectors. He specialises in helping organisations
improve their effectiveness through developing processes that reduce stress
and increase employee performance and motivation. He is an experienced
mentor of senior managers and executives.
Prior to becoming a consultant Michael had worked extensively in the
financial services, voluntary, health and local authority organisations.
He is also an accredited user of several ethical, validated, psychometric
profiling tools and a licensed Investor in People adviser.
He is also a visiting lecturer and facilitator at the Civil Service College,
working with senior managers to develop their personal power and influencing
skills, and has been a course tutor and co-ordinator at Birkbeck College,
University of London.

Gillian Wing
Gillian Wing is a successful leader with proven skills in organisation
development and change management. During the 1990's, as Chief Executive
of an NHS Trust, she delivered consistently high performance across all
aspects of the Trust's services meeting exacting financial targets. Her
ability to bring out the best in people by supporting creativity and innovation,
combined with effective teamwork and performance management ensured a
strong focus on the provision of excellent customer service.
Gillian has brought her skills and experience to consultancy in the fields
of flexible working, service quality and organisational culture in both
public and private sector assignments. Her senior management experience
ensures a thorough understanding of the opportunities and challenges faced
by managers when implementing flexible working, together with an appreciation
of the culture needed for success and the importance of a strong customer
focus.
A recent flexible working project with an NHS client gained highly commended
recognition in the National NHS Management Awards.
