Help us to help you!

alt We hope you have been able to find the information you need from our website or by calling our freephone helpline. We would like to be able to help many more parents and carers – some of them in desperate situations as they attempt to hold onto their jobs and earn enough money to keep their families out of poverty – but lack of funds is threatening the service we provide.

Working Families is a charity and we rely on the generosity of individuals and organisations to survive. If you would like to make a donation to help make sure we are able to keep providing urgently-needed advice and support to working parents and carers, there are a number of ways you can help:

One-off donation Every pound you give to Working Families really makes a difference! You can make a one-off donation through our website by clicking here:

Regular donations If you would like to set up a weekly, monthly or annual donation to Working Families, you can do so online by clicking here.

Direct Debit donations
are a huge help to Working Families; they provide a regular income and enable us to plan for the future. Setting up a Direct Debit today will help us continue to provide support for working parents and carers.

If you prefer, you can call us on 020 7253 7243 to make your donation over the phone. Or, if you would like to send us a donation through the post, please send your gift to: Working Families, Freepost NAT3184, London EC1B 1BR. You can simply send a cheque, or click HERE to print out a donation form.

If you are a UK taxpayer, please sign the Gift Aid declaration on your form so we can claim an extra 28% on your donation at no cost to you.

Other ways to help:

Shopping
Help Working Families by shopping online via www.buy.at/workingfamilies. There's a wide range of High Street stores available and each time you shop via our site, we get a percentage of your purchase price at no extra cost to you.

Events
You can get information about our fundraising events, or we can even help you run your own event for us. For more information about raising money for Working Families, please email fundraising@workingfamilies.org.uk or call us on 020 7253 7243

Payroll Giving
If your employer offers the Payroll Giving scheme you can donate to Working Families directly through your salary via Child Concern Consortium. This is a tax-efficient way to give, as your donation is deducted from your salary before tax.

For example, if you pledge to give £10 a month to Child Concern Consortium, it will cost you £7.80 if you are a basic-rate taxpayer. The remaining £2.20, which would have been paid in tax, is instead given to Child Concern Consortium making a total donation of £10.

Giving regularly via your salary gives us a steady stream of income and enables us to plan ahead.

Ask your payroll department whether your company offers a payroll giving scheme. If they do, they will be able to give you a form to set up your donation and then your donations will be taken regularly from your salary.

For more information about Payroll Giving, please email fundraising@workingfamilies.org.uk or contact us on 020 7253 7243.
